When I need to stop and regroup, I make miniatures of rooms. I started with kits, probably aimed at children, but I’ve been looking at my own surroundings and wondering how I can recreate them in 1:12 scale. There is something about dissecting the structure of an everyday object and seeing if it can be replicated as a matchbox sized item. It makes me concentrate and focus.
Time spent in play is never time wasted.
